Wingate University Commencement to include first pharmacy graduates
Jay Campbell, executive director of the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy, will be the honored speaker at the Wingate University 2007 Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 12. The university will award diplomas to 355 undergraduate and graduate students including the inaugural class of 56 pharmacy students at the 9 a.m. outdoor commencement ceremony on the university’s academic quad.
Campbell developed and teaches the pharmacy law classes at Wingate University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a frequently guest lecturer on pharmacy law topics at Campbell University. His work has also been published several times.
The Chapel Hill native is a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Law, and received his B.S. the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
