Southern Market & Craft Show and Tom Clark

Local artisans and craft vendors will gather in the academic quad at Wingate University on Sat. March 31 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to sell their items. Admission is free.

Following the Craft Show, sculptor Tom Clark will discuss his famous creations at 1 p.m. in the Recital Hall on campus. After the lecture, the university will make available for purchase a portion of its extensive Tom Clark gnome collection during a silent auction to benefit a student scholarship.

Clark’s creations include sculptures of Beethoven, Jefferson, famous NASCAR drivers, and his trademark Gnomes. His works are said to provide the mirror that reflects the eternal aspects of our deeper selves.
