Career Readiness Certificate Coming to Union County!
The state-wide initiative to promote Career Readiness Certificates using the WorkKeys program is coming to Union County. South Piedmont launched the program in Anson County at a breakfast meeting of community and business leaders. The program provides assessment and training for individuals who seek a bronze, silver or gold CRC. The CRC is fast becoming the recognized credential among area employers. Employers use the CRC to assist in the screening of applicants and for promotion/advancement programs within their organizations. This program is made possible by a grant from the North Carolina Community College System and Centralina Workforce Development Board. For more information about the program, contact Todd Morris at 704-290-5219 or Linda Kappauf at 704-290-5215.
