Is there anything better than ice cold watermelon on a warm summer day?

Every year, Hospice of Union County hosts a huge cookout as a way to say thank you to our community for their continuing support. Last year, we celebrated with our patients and their families, social workers and nurses from various agencies, a few doctors and some of our hardworking fire and police departments, as well as anyone else who stopped by that day, after all, it’s open to everyone in this community. We had burgers and hotdogs, baked beans, potato salad and potato chips, cookies, brownies and cakes, but the best part was the iced down watermelon! Nothing tastes better during our southern summer days!

Our cookout will be held on July 20th from 11am to 2pm at our ten-acre campus in Monroe, right off of Highway 74, next to Brandon Reeves Auto. For directions, more information or to RSVP, please call Beth Deal at 704-292-2100.
