Hospice Offers Volunteer Training

Hospice of Union County routinely holds training sessions for anyone willing to become a hospice volunteer. Volunteers are the heart of hospice. There are all sorts of things volunteers can do, from helping out with our golf tournament, holiday auction and other fundraisers to clerical duties to one-on-one patient visits. Our next training session is scheduled in Waxhaw at our branch office, Hospice Services of Western Union County. The sessions are on Tuesday, March 6th; Thursday, March 8th; Tuesday, March 13th; and Thursday, March 15th, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. If you are interested in attending these training sessions and becoming a volunteer for Hospice, please contact Beth Deal at 704-292-2112.
