New ReStore Open!
The Union County Habitat for Humanity ReStore had our grand opening on March 31st! Since that first day business has been wonderful and community support continues to grow.
Habitat ReStores were started to help Habitat affiliates like ours with fund raising efforts towards the building program. The ReStore sells gently used and new furniture, appliances, household items, and construction materials. The monies from the sale of these items goes into the construction program.
The ReStore also does pickups of larger items such as furniture and appliances. All you have to do is phone the store at 704-289-6067 to schedule an appointment. We also have the support of local businesses and Lowe’s Home Improvement. They donate new, discontinued items. There’s something different in the store every day!
If you want to check us out, we’re located at 2520 W. Roosevelt Boulevard (Hwy. 74) next to Griffin Motors and Super Walmart.
We’re very excited about our new location and want to thank everyone who helped us with this project.
