Fresh produce, flowers, bedding plants, whole wheat baked goods, local honey and lots more are for sale in the parking lot across from the Old Courthouse at the corner of Franklin & Main.

Bring a chair or blanket to sit on during the free cartoons at the Main Street Plaza in Monroe. Tom & Jerry begins at dusk on August 22nd. Free games for kids at 7:00 pm. Snacks will be for sale.

Enjoy the beauty of Downtown Monroe and visit some of the town’s most noted buildings during the Historic Home Tour from 1000 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, June 7th. Save the date for this unique downtown event that is far more than an art exhibit. On Friday, October 5,
from 5:30-9:30p.m., join in a walk of downtown Monroe that will feature all kinds of art being displayed in numerous businesses. and several venues will have live music. Types of art media include watercolor, oil, acrylic, multi-Media, wood mosaic, furniture craft, pottery, quilting, photography and more. A night of fun for the entire family! On Thursday night, Sept. 27, from 6:30 until 9:30pm., there will be Music on Main Street featuring The Catalinas. There will be food vendors and activities and dancing for all ages. The event is free and open to the public. Wear your dancing shoes and bring you yard chair.!!!
