If you want to set and stick to some financial goals, this free four-part series, presented by Robin Landsman of the Union County Cooperative Extension will help you. The series will take place at the Union County Agricultural and Conference Center, 3230 Presson Rd., Monroe and is sponsored by Spirit of Women, Carolinas Medical Center-Union.

Join this walking club to walk away diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and more. The club will walk on Mondays abnd Wednesdays beginning at noon, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 8 a.m. Walkers should meet in the CMC-Union Outpatient Treatent Pavilion Lobby, located at 600 Hospital Dr. in Monroe and the walk will then continue on the hospital’s walking trails. The first 100 club members will receive a free water bottle and pedometer. Please check with your physician before starting any exercise program.
