Sara Gregory, watercolorist and encaustic painter, won a third place award at the Stanly County Art Explosion for an encaustic work, “Autumn Colors”.  She also sold another work, “Bamboo”, a Chinese Brush Painting, and received a commission for another.

The Artists Guild plans to hold workshops beginning in September and continuing through May, with the exception of December.
Workshops will be held at Benton Heights Presbyterian Church, Hwy. 601, North on a Saturday, usually running from 10:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m.
