Congratulations to Maren Bilby for winning the Union County Public Schools Spelling Bee. She will now represent Union County at the regional spelling bee on Feb. 11 at ImaginOn in Charlotte. this is the first time in 12 years that an elementary school student has won the UCPS Spelling Bee. Other winners have been middle school students. Best of luck, Maren…we’ll be pulling for you.
